There is a way to stop older nail polishes from going thick and goopy! Add a few drops of acetone, shake, and tada, your polish is as good as new!

EDIT: s-lacquer says, “Adding acetone to gooey nail polish will only ruin it further—I know it works temporarily, but nail polish thinner is the way to go!”

Yellow nails? Use lemon juice and baking soda! Mix them together. This step should make a bit of an hissing sound which is perfectly normal. Put it on a thin wash cloth and start scrubbing your nail. That should help remove the stain!

To help avoid yellowing in the future… Always use a base coat! Simple!
